I met JB Arthur this week to discuss the direction for my new album - he is going to produce it :) The problem is that my music interests are so wide, that it is very hard to combine them on one album.
Two years ago I heard a beautiful guajira at a small flamenco bar and have been inspired since to do one on the flute and guitar. Then I also would like to do some more Celtic and Tango pieces, and also some folk-influenced pieces, where the simplicity of the music speaks to your heart...

ReplyDeleteEk het jou op die vlug van Perth na ORT ontmoet hierdie week. Soos belowe maak ek wel kontak en het ek die Pierneef teater genader om jou vertoning op 16 September by te woon.
Verbasend genoeg is dit eintlik nogal baie warm in Pretoria op die oomblik en ek dink Lente het wel uiteindelik aangebreek :)
Ek sien uit om my kinders en ouers na jou vertoning te bring en hopelik sal ek ook vir jou kan groet na die tyd.
Ek hoop jy geniet jou kuier in Suid-Afrika.
